I.F.S. - Polling
We now have online polling! I've been meaning to do this for awhile, and finally found a solution easy enough for me to implement in between work time. It's pretty cool, shows you a google map with where people are voting from and who they are voting for, although comments are integrated into this site. This is a sample poll, but it is my hope that we can utilize polls for important matters as well. Send me your poll suggestions. We can do these each week or each month, whichever. Or maybe you don't like them at all. Anywho, we can put these polls in posts rather than the sidebar if that is preferred, or we can put it on the left sidebar. I'm going to go watch this foosball game, where you beeeeeennnn?!?

Infinite Solutions
Many ministers come to me when they are seeking advice on technology and media related matters, but I'm not always available to respond in an expedient manner and must send them to internet based how-to's. One new site has caught my eye as a wealth of information, not only on technology, but other topics such as cooking and travel. So if you ever have another question, just point your web broswer's navigation bar at http://www.marksinfinitesolutions.com/
Or visit their YouTube page here: http://www.youtube.com/infinitesolutions

Sorry About Your Facebook
I.F.S. is now on Facebook, so if you have not joined the internet social scene that is sweeping the nation you better get you some. I have added the page link to the Sitelist to live among our other technological endeavors. Y/T is already a fan.

Typepad - Create Pages
Hello Ministers,
Typepad has made an upgrade to their service that allows everyone to create pages, not too much difference from a post, but where posts have comments, and move around based on other posts / dates, pages would allow you to create something like this.
In the next week or so, I will look into adding a navigation bar to the top of the content section, which would allow us to quickly access these new permanent pages to make it more useful. Right now all I can think of is an About IFS page, this could use some content, but I'm sure something else could be done as well, like a page that houses the information for the next meeting so that you don't have to search through posts and comments. This would be Coordination and Athletics job to update.
Anyway, this will be pretty useful as we continue to get bigger and stronger, we could also make a new layout for these pages if we want to mix things up a bit.
Let me know if you have any ideas for permanent pages, and we can start using this new feature.
Good Flapjack,
M+T

The Last Stand - Flash Game
I came across this game today and did not stop playing it until I beat it (survive 20 days). Check it out / play it at work / have fun. It's a cross between Resident Evil and Space Invaders, and it kicks ass.

Twenty things to do today while high...
- Russell Crowe and Christian Bale are busy working on a remake of "3:10 to Yuma", no trailer yet, but a couple of stills to get you pumped.
- If long haired cowboys isn't your thing, the new Bourne Ultimatum trailer is out on the interwebs.
- There was no new Office this week, but there is a preview of next week's episode, and it is highlarious.
- Southpark was really good this week, re-watch it or download it, or if you're really high you can check out Soutpark in French.
- If you like to read while you're high, here's a look at what people at the turn of the 20th century thought our lives would be like.
- In sports news, the Ducks won, and Ricky Williams wants to get high with the Rams.
- Go see Hot Fuzz today, good reviews, and plenty of action / comedy. Or if you're too lazy, I'm sure one of these movies is playing on some channel somewhere in the world.
- Be sure to get up early tomorrow for Arcade Fire tickets.
- If you're getting hungry, there are good fish and chips in Van Nuys.
- Listen to Bill Bradley talk, yeah that's what I want to do when I'm high.
- Is this what we'd look like if we were chicks?
- Human Giant is out, and it's pretty funny, read about it, or watch it, I don't care.
- This is what happens when you don't smoke weed,
or smoke too much. No this is what happens when you smoke too much. - Why don't you use your newfound creative juices to give me comments on the new site look?
- There's a Gears of War tournament starting today, does anyone play that anymore?
- Man, this movie looks like crap, except for the Jessica Biel in panties thing.
- Is smoking weed good for you? Possibly Do 14-year olds already know this?
- Why is Howard Stern one of the only logical persons in the media?
- Damn, twenty things is tough, and I'm getting the munchies.
- Next meeting, we are all eating these...

We Are Still Kicking
Wow, a whole week without a new post, I hope everyone is alive and kicking after Easter - peeps and egg decorating are painful, but necessary. Or is it taxes that is driving everyone into a hole? They did it to me, I find out tomorrow how much I need to cut the check for, and I am not excited about it, but life goes on, and I will have money when the next IFS meeting rolls around.
In website news, I've started to move around some of the sidebar boxes. I think the I.F.S. Should Know is one of the best boxes and have brought it up a bit, as it is a constant feed of what I am reading about on the internet (a lot of nerd stuff, but some general news as well). You'll find things like the new 2007 football schedule, Saints v. Colts opener, or Jet Li and Jackie Chan doing a movie together.
In related news, I will be putting a fresh coat of paint on the site, you can see my slow, but thoughtful progess over here. If you have any input, or would like to see something on the site feel free to comment, so I can call you an idiot.

I was just in Vegas a few weeks ago and we stayed in one of those Venetian suites.. There was about 12 of us pharmacy geeks sleeping comfortably in that place. It'll be good for a group of monkeys

On top of that I have an exam the day we return to class.. No Vegas for me, whhaaammmyy
I've been to Las Vegas six times in the last year. And yes, I went to Little Darlings... alone. I'm real.
Chicago is better than New York? Ok. I understand.
Yankees vs. Blue Jays? Gay. Cubs vs. Phillies (both of which were 2007 division champs). Not Gay. "C" stands for Cubs. "C" is also the roman numeral for 100. 1908-2008... This is the year.
Ouch. Curtis and I just finished a beer, where I explained to him my fears of the fact that Frank probably did a fucking song about Chicago, and that if he did, Baggs was gonna get me. Well I beeeen got Baggs, I beeeeen got. Still lets go see the Yanks!
19 Ministers. 22 votes. And suddenly the map indicates no votes for Chicago from the Santa Barbara contingent?? Stop tampering with democracy.
The town that Billy Sunday couldn't shut down. That means the Prohibition didn't stop Chicagoans from drinking. Nice. Prohibition jam.
Daaaammmmmnnn!
Bitte Shune! Shrove Shune!
Come on boys. It's got to be New York New York. Frank didn't sing any fucking Chicago Songs. Plus isn't bags from there? We have all met and hung out with him multiple times. Thats the same as going there. Am I right? Man you boys have to get over here. The Frau lines are coming out in their skirts soon.....Bonner City!
Thats so fucking Danke shun!
You guys look good. Happy Shrove Day from the Deep South, where I now live.
