Living the Dream
I will give an update for those ministers who are unaware of the new
developments in Mexican Second Division soccer. Our beloved Minster of
Finance has quit his financial planning job in
The official club name is Internacional Playa del Carmen and allegedly there's
a contract to be drawn up upon Christopher Baez's return to Mexico this
winter, if he doesn't receive any other offers. This new international
development begs the question, "When are we going to see Baez play Mexican
soccer for an IFS meeting?" I personally can't wait. Please join me
in congratulating our dear friend and supporting his quest to live the dream.
The Mexican Second division website is: http://www.segundadivision.org.mx/

A Sound Investment
Today I made a first step towards investing in the stock
market. After asking around the office about good blue chip stocks, I
gathered a list of potential companies I might like to invest in. I
invested in 2 shares of Budweiser stock. About 100$.
I'll add more stocks to diversify the portfolio eventually, but I think investing
in an old American company with a proven track record, quality product, and a
bulletproof marketing strategy seems like good investment sense.
But until I can afford one share of Google stock (about $550), I'll be rooting
for the Clydesdales to pull home a wagon of profit.
I know that based on the current consumption patterns within our organization,
I can count on Americans to continue drinking Beer. So tip back a cold
one with me and keep an eye on that ticker. Stock Symbol: BUD

Aren't Nova and Converse running with the bulls?
Here’s a poignant image from this years running. That sort of looks like a short haired Nova narrowly escaping a skewering on the right. Can we get an international post from our European branch?

Sweet Home Chicago
In September, Defense and I will be traveling east to the wonderful city of Chicago.
The Cubs will be hosting the Dodgers Sept. 3rd-6th.
Those will be the approximate dates of the trip. Look forward to Chicago pizza, art museum, Wrigley Field, Sears Tower, Bernie's Bar, and the Married with Children Fountain.
After looking at Travelocity, Defense and I would be able to book 2 round trip tickets and 3 nights in a four star hotel for approx. $550 for each of us, depending on the hotel. I'm sure these rates would get much cheaper if others were included. The more, the merrier (and cheaper). Who's in?

I've been to Las Vegas six times in the last year. And yes, I went to Little Darlings... alone. I'm real.
Chicago is better than New York? Ok. I understand.
Yankees vs. Blue Jays? Gay. Cubs vs. Phillies (both of which were 2007 division champs). Not Gay. "C" stands for Cubs. "C" is also the roman numeral for 100. 1908-2008... This is the year.
Ouch. Curtis and I just finished a beer, where I explained to him my fears of the fact that Frank probably did a fucking song about Chicago, and that if he did, Baggs was gonna get me. Well I beeeen got Baggs, I beeeeen got. Still lets go see the Yanks!
19 Ministers. 22 votes. And suddenly the map indicates no votes for Chicago from the Santa Barbara contingent?? Stop tampering with democracy.
The town that Billy Sunday couldn't shut down. That means the Prohibition didn't stop Chicagoans from drinking. Nice. Prohibition jam.
